Before we fit your new roof surface, first of all we will take great care to remove the old one, making sure that every piece of it is taken away and disposed of responsibly. When we undertake a flat roof replacement, we like to make sure our work lives up to our exacting standards from beginning to end. If it contains asbestos, you can rest assured that we fully comply with health and safety regulations to dispose of hazardous material. We are the best Kent Flat Roofing company.
Next we will prepare the roof properly, making sure the area is clean, free from debris and in the best possible condition to receive our superior weatherproof decking boards. Every board we use is 25% thicker than most used in the industry, and is made from FSC certified timber specified for its consistency, rigidity and moisture resistance.
Obviously weather plays a huge part in damaging most flat roof surfaces, that’s why we cover ours with a minimum of 2 layers of polyester resin with glass fibre matting in between for a strong and completely watertight barrier. And because our polyester resin is applied cold, you don’t need to worry about use of burners or there being any risk of fire close to your home.
